Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to launch September 4th, says source

Samsung logo at booth Details of the impending arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have emerged online, after an individual 'familiar with matters' at Samsung let slip information about the phone-maker’s plans.
According to a source cited Android Geeks, the phablet will be unveiled at a special “press-only” Samsung Unpacked event on September 4th at the IFA 2013 expo in Berlin.
While rumours that long suggested that the show would be marked by the arrival of the Note 3, the report marks the first time that any sort of tentative day has been advanced in the tech press for the phone’s debut.
September is also the month mooted for the arrival of the iPhone 5S / iPhone 6, setting up what’s sure to be a smartphone showdown in the final quarter of 2013 and birthing a host of Samsung advertisements taking now-familiar sideswipes at its rival.
