hones 4u has announced it has replenished its Samsung Galaxy S4 stock after an initial shortfall caused by “unprecedented demand” for the latest flagship handset.
The high street retailer confirmed today that it has taken “a large delivery” of the freshly launched smartphone, which hit shop shelves across UK on Saturday. The fresh supply of handsets is being used to fulfill all remaining pre-orders, as well as boost stock in its stores nationwide.
Phones 4u is ranging the Galaxy S4 on pay-month tariffs through a variety of networks. The handset is free to pick up with a two-year contract from £36 a month, with unlimited data, unlimited texts and 2,000 minutes.
Scott Hooton, Chief Commercial Officer at Phones 4u, said: “We are really excited to see consumer reaction as the handset becomes widely available and are certain its performance will impress and wow customers.
“With 46 per cent of smartphone owners in the UK considering getting a Samsung smartphone next, we’re predicting that the Galaxy S4 is in with a very strong chance of becoming the biggest selling smartphone of 2013.”
Available in a choice of Black Mist and White Frost colourways, the Galaxy S4’s stand out features include a five-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor and a 13-megapixel camera.
It’s also crammed with an array of new software, such as S Health, Dual Camera and Air Gesture.
