HTC One Two / M8: more specs leak online

HTC M8 leak More key specs for the successor to the HTC One have sneaked their way on to the internet, ahead of the handset’s anticipated emergence at Mobile World Congress (MWC).
According to a Tweet from rock-solid leaker @Evleaks, preliminary specs for the handset take in a mighty Snapdragon MSM8974 processor, as well as the five-inch screen that tech-site rumours have assured us will be on board since November.

The latest 6.0 version of HTC’s Sense custom skin will also be present and correct, presumably sitting pretty over the up-to-minute KitKat version of Google’s Android OS.
And the UltraPixel rear camera from the original One makes a reappearance too, alongside a 2.1-megapixel snapper for whenever you feel the call of a pouty selfie.
Originally codenamed the M8, the One Two’s finished title was leaked last month when a UK judge seemingly inadvertently let slip its title in a court case. The legal wrangle was yet another patent spat, this time between Nokia and HTC.
The judge also intimated that the handset, which will purportedly retain the original's aluminium unibody frame but tweak the design, will tip up in the UK in February or March, strongly suggesting that HTC will debut the One Two at MWC next month.
In keeping with previous years, HTC will most likely showcase the phone at a special press event on the eve of the tech expo, lest it gets lost amid the slew of other new devices also set to land in Barca.
