ictures of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in a fresh colourway have emerged on the interwebs, hours ahead of the phone’s official debut at a London press event tonight.
The so-called 'Dive Blue' (that’s aquamarine to you and me) edition of the phone, pictorial evidence of which was uncovered by Sam Mobile and Twitter user @PunkPanda, is expected to be among the slew of new devices taking a bow tonight at Samsung’s Earls Court showcase.
Billed as a blend of a tough phone and the standard Galaxy S4, the Active is dust and water-resistant thanks to a full sealed exterior and can be submerged under water for up to 30 minutes without affecting the handset.
The phone also offers the Nature UX user interface innovations that make the S4 stand out, such as tilt to scroll and the SmartPause intelligent pause mode. All of which sits alongside a five-inch Full HD TFT LCD screen, a 1.9 GHZ quad-core processor, a 2,600mAh battery and an eight-megapixel camera with Aqua Mode for underwater photography.
